INVESTMENT - BIOGAS

Husesolar is a state-owned pioneering company in biogas projects. Nowadays we are carrying out the Hu project, which consists on the building and development of 4 biogas plants with 500 Kw each one from the stockbreeding waste materials in the area, avoiding the use of energetic cultivation.

The first stage of the Hu Project starts with a plant in the province of Lugo. The contacts made with livestock farmers and the government make the plant HU.1 the most near in time.

The conditions in order to choose the place of the biogas plant have been the following:

• Great livestock concentration in the area.
• Proximity of a principal road and the medium voltage line.
• Organisation of livestock farmers in the area in the shape of cooperative, which simplifies the logistic process of manure collection and residues management. 

With the aim of assure the raw material supply in the anaerobic digestion of the plant, strict contracts have been established with the livestock farmers in the area. They assure their manure treatment and obtain an excellent natural fertilizer, which they use in their cultivations.
