HUSESOLAR BUILD THE LARGEST ROOFTOP SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC INSTALLATION IN GALICIA

A new 2MW Project

The company Husesolar will invest over 6 million euros in the construction of a photovoltaic plant on the campus of Green Week. This project will be the largest rooftop solar photovoltaic instalation in Galicia. The president of the foundation grounds, Alfonso Rueda, presented in Silleda the project with Husesolar’s manager Mr. Juan Manuel Valor

The Regional Minister of Presidency, Public Administration and Justice of Galicia signed an agreement by the Foundation and highlighted the magnitude of an infrastructure that will allow you to enter initial 100,000 euros to the trade fair, in addition to receiving about 7% the turnover to generate electricity. Thus, estimated the compensation for this activity in 50.000€/year.

With this ambitious initiative, the company Husesolar will be installed in the fairgrounds a total of 11,000 solar panels to be placed both on the roofs of the exhibition halls as part of the areas for parking. The president of the Green Week said that the panels occupy 10,000 square meters of warehouses and more than 26,000 square meters of parking areas. With this project not eliminated parking, because the structure rises above the ground and even ensures that cars can be parked in the shade.

The initial project, Mr. Rueda said, could be expanded in the future if it receives approval from state government, once the regional government supports this initiative, and  report to the Green Week an interesting profit.
